Phish - The Line (featuring Darius Washington, Jr)

From the album Fuego (2014). The song is about Darius Washington, Jr., missing (the last) two (of three) free throws with time expired in the 2005 C-USA conference championship game, resulting in Memphis losing the game to Louisville and the automatic bid to go to the NCAA's that year. Video from an ESPN documentary about it, and there's also a quick shot of Phish on Letterman in 2014. Despite the disappointment, Washington did play for many pro teams including the San Antonio Spurs, and continues to play pro ball overseas today; Memphis has made the NCAA's pretty much every year since, and Phish are also doing pretty good for themselves.
