Karen Garner's family talks after officer's charged

One of the former Loveland police officers involved in the arrest of Karen Garner last June now faces felony charges, including assault resulting in serious injuries.

District Attorney Gordon McLaughlin announced charges Wednesday afternoon for Austin Hopp and Daria Jalali, both of whom were directly involved in the June 26, 2020 arrest of Garner, a 73-year-old woman with dementia. Arrest warrants have been issued for both of them.
