Good-bye Tokyo’s Nakagin Capsule Tower | Demolition Started

Nakagin Capsule Tower Building is currently being demolished, the back is first with bulldozers already at work. They couldn't save it because there was no consensus with the 140 capsule owners on what do do and earthquake proofing it would cost 2-3 Billion Yen and the Save Nakagin campaign only raised 1M yen. Some capsules will go to museums to preserve the Metabolism (architecture) style from the 1960s and 1970s.
