Tight Quarters 2.0 Skagit Snake Poke Cast

Juro's Skagit Snake Poke Cast is a great, simple, and effective cast for easily setting your anchor far in front of you when skagit casting, or any type of Spey Casting in Tight Quarters.

Also the cach handed Perry Poke and the cack handed snap T cast are also featured for use when backed up against the brush. I share tips about how I like to make these casts and when to use them

I'm using a 13' 7/8 4 peice TFO Deer Creek Deer Creek Spey Rod, developed by Mike Kinney and Bob Meiser. I cast a chopped Skagit Head, 570 grains at 19' and a 10 90 grain sink tip and a fabulous Dumbell eyed Lady GaGa type fly Inspired by Travis Johnson and tied by Nikki Page.
In some of the casts at the end of the video I've switched to 10' of t14 for a sink tip. I usually always use about 3 feet, give or take of Maxima ultra Green for my leader when throwing sink tips.
