This is the follow-up to my viral "PKM is Dead" video. After showing how I replaced my entire PKM system with two folders and AI, the #1 question was: "Aren't you just depending on Claude now?" Fair question. In this video, I break down why Claude is the brain, not the system. If Anthropic disappeared tomorrow, I would not lose a single file. I also explain why AI-organized files are actually MORE portable than Obsidian vaults, where wiki links, Dataview frontmatter, and plugin dependencies silently lock you in. Then I reveal that my co-founder Paco, building his own AI assistant from a completely different starting point, landed on the same conclusion. I quit Heptabase. Paco quit Tana. When two people independently reach the same answer, that's a pattern.
