Severe Food Aggression & Resource Guarding - Before/After Dog Training

Kristina Carmody of Liberty K9 Dog Training in Washington DC demonstrates how to rehabilitate severe resource guarding with 3 year old Rottweiler, Ivan. Ivan would not let anyone near him or his food bowl once it was present. Using a balanced dog training method and tools (including a baskerville muzzle for safety, high value treats, an E-Collar Technologies educator remote collar, and calming massage techniques), the severe food aggression has stopped after just three and a half weeks at training camp. Please note that the before video was done for demonstration purposes ONLY before any training took place. It is always suggested for the dog to wear a muzzle during any training for aggression during the initial stages.
