So what exactly are certified legal translations?
Certified translations are a requirement for any foreign language documents you present with an application for immigration benefits at the USCIS or any other government agencies.
They are also required for other legal processes, so this video can help those not looking for immigration help in particular, but help with legal translation more generally.
But what does "Certified" mean, and how do you actually do it?
Certified means that a translator has sworn in writing as to the accuracy of the translation and to his or her own competence as a translator.
Are certified translations for the USCIC different than other translations?
No, but some agencies are better at doing this than others.
What are the 3 pro tips?
