Politicians and public health bureaucrats ‘refuse to address’ the ‘hard truths’ about COVID-19

There are “hard truths that politicians and public health bureaucrats” in this country “refuse to address” about the COVID-19 pandemic, according to Sky News host Rita Panahi.

Ms Panahi said we seem to “quickly forget” the 1,255 Australians who died of influenza in 2017.

“COVID-19 needs to be treated like a virulent strain of influenza, not the black death.

“It’s what many renowned experts have called for from the start of this pandemic, but they were ignored or maligned.

“The world, with a few notable exceptions, followed China’s example - who claimed to have eradicated the virus by locking down Wuhan.

“If you believe that, you’ll believe anything.”
