Stealth camping in a haunted folly featuring a ghost hunt.

As I approached my destination, the wind began to pick up and the rain began to fall. Some might see this as a warning but an opportunist would see it as a shelter from the weather! With a bag of snacks, some coffee and a quick deploy sleep system, it was an easy mission. We talk about the history of the structure & take a little tour. In the evening, we have ourselves a little paranormal investigation!

Racton Ruins was built in 1772 for the 2nd Earl of Halifax as a summerhouse or a watchtower to monitor the movements of his merchant ships at the nearby port. The monument has seen Earls, Madams, Cults, Devil Worshippers, Illegal Raves, Graffiti Artists, Suicides & Paranormal Investigators. Local lore suggests spectral sightings including flying bricks, faces in windows, being pushed & scratched & a tractor that drives up behind you and disappears.
