My first canoe trip this year. The weather is fine, sun and nice temperature. Time to explore the Wieden again. It's springtime, so lots of flowers are blossoming. An explosion of colours. Unfortunately also an explosion of midges. Tiny little pitbull flies that form well organised clouds to assault any exposed bare skin. Terror at dawn, terror at dusk.
Nevertheless I enjoyed this three days trip.
