Disney and Pixar own the world of animated movies. Disney has been making movies since 1938 and have movies scheduled out to 2023. When they merged with Pixar to become one unit in 2006 even more movies were added to the cannon. Even after all of these movies we still always want more. One of the things that makes these movies so special is the ways they feel relatable, realistic, and universal. It’s fairly easy to identify where most of the movies take place in the world. Finding Nemo takes place off the coast of Australia, Brother Bear takes place in Alaska, and Ratatouille takes place in France. But what if our beloved Disney and Pixar movies not only share a world similar to ours? What if they share a timeline, or connections? There are many theories out there to relate some movies to others, but what if they are all connected?

One of the most popular theories relates the movies Frozen, Tangled, Tarzan, and maybe even The Little Mermaid together. There are also regularly easter eggs that nod to other Disney and Pixar movies like a Mulan poster in Lilo and Stitch or a Meowana DVD in Zootopia. Because of the ways Disney is so interested in the tiniest details, even in their theme park hotel rooms, it’s no surprise they carry this attitude into the movies. So how can Disney and Pixar movies be so connected? Is this just a far-fetched theory by Disney enthusiasts? Don’t forget to like and subscribe before we find out by diving into the wonderful world of Disney!
