So this video is a tag from the lovely Joss @Joss-Fragrance-Mixology she tagged me back in October and it's been on my list... This got me thinking about what I used to wear and also what I liked but never had in my teens and early twenties. The first scents I remember are those that were "available", I lived in a tiny town with a high street chemist the size of a corner shop, I only got to try perfumes by taking a 30 minute bus ride to the nearest city! Fast forward 20 years and now I've got a city on my doorstep where I can try stuff and the magic of the internet to enable purchasing.

So how has my taste changed? The main thing is that it has expanded. For me, trying more has meant that I like more but that I love less. Talking to more people as part of the YouTube community has also made me see that there are issues with perfume trends, marketing and language. I definitely think I was perfume naïve when I started my channel and I still am, just in a different way. There's lots more out there to try and to explore!
