To test the Nokia 800 Tough's rugged design, I pitted it against tech's natural enemy: a 4-year-old child with grand ambitions to destroy anything of value. Here we review how sturdy this Nokia feature phone really is, against drop, impact, water and other tests - is it really one of the best outdoor smartphones as we hit 2020?

The 800 Tough isn't just IP68 rated, which means it can be fully submerged in 1.5m of water for 30 mins. This mobile can also survive a drop of up to 1.8m onto s hard floor, as it's fully MIL-STD 810G certified. Plus it has an anti-slip coating, so you're unlikely to drop it anyway, unless you’re a proper butter-fingers - or a four year old kid.
