Bedtime Routine with my Indian Ringneck Parrot

This is a pretty standard night on how I put Ricco to bed. Things were never this simple until I found a way to get Ricco to bed without chasing him around for 45 mins lol.

I’ve now learned that saving his favourite treat for bedtime gets him into bed pretty quickly. He loves nuts, so walnuts, almonds, pine nuts, pea cans, or pistachios. These are all human grade nuts and I don’t feed him peanuts.

As you can see it got him in his cage for bedtime, hope this technique works for you.
