What I thought was going to be a boring week turned into an eventful one. Trevor and I finally put up our DIY floating shelves in our living room, and I go home decor shopping at Target for some artificial faux flowers and plants to brighten the space. We also go on a walk through Newport Back Bay and have a beach day at Newport Beach, where we looked at multi-million dollar houses in both locations. I also try out and review Briogeo Hair Care for the first time, we return to The Crack Shack, and Trevor gets an at home haircut from my brother-in-law before we head to my parents’ place for a Father’s Day BBQ.

RANDOMS (THAT PEOPLE WILL PROBABLY ASK ABOUT)
Trevor is starting to get into coffee, which was why we stopped off at Starbucks on our walk.
Dogs rub against your stuff after a shower because they are trying to get their scent back, which is why Spartacus was running around and rubbing on our blankets.
We tanned at the beach for about an hour, and my tan ended up deepening the next day.
I made the Peach Whiskey Spritzer off camera and it was delicious - will do a breakdown in the next vlog!
Both my sister’s dogs are full-on mutts. We think that Bandit is some sort of Husky, Pitbull, Jack Russell mix, and Bailee is a total mystery (some kind of terrier mix?).
Trevor and I actually almost adopted Bandit when my sister and brother-in-law first rescued him and were not sure if they were keeping him yet.
As of when this is published, we’re still looking for our decor for those shelves. 🙈
That gold vase was from HomeGoods years ago - I’m not able to find it or a dupe to link.
