Paneer Butter Masala Recipe

Paneer Butter Masala is a popular North Indian dish known for its rich, creamy tomato-based gravy and soft chunks of paneer (Indian cottage cheese).

Here's a recipe to prepare Paneer Butter Masala:

Ingredients:

• 200gm paneer
• 2 tbsp cream
• 1 big size onion
• 2 big size tomato
• 13-14 cashews
• Whole spices (Jeera, black pepper, Tej patta, hari Elaichi, Badi Elaichi, laung, daal chini.
• 1tbsp Kasuri methi
• 1tbsp ginger garlic paste
• 1tbsp Kashmiri lal mirch
• 1tsp lal mirch
• Haldi
• 1tbsp Coriander powder
• 1tsp garam masala
• 1 tbsp honey
• Butter
• Salt
• Hara dhania

Instructions:

1. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Shallow fry paneer till it becomes brown.

2. In a pan, Add the onions and sauté until they turn translucent add tomato and cook for 3-4 minutes and cashews cook until tomato becomes soft when it cool down make a paste.
3. Heat a pan add whole spices, ginger garlic paste kasuri methi, onion tomato cashews paste, Kashmiri chilli powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, and garam masala, honey, cream Stir well and cook for a minute.
5. Add salt to taste and mix everything together.
6. Now, add the paneer cubes and gently mix them with the masala, ensuring the paneer is well coated. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
8. Simmer the paneer butter masala for a few minutes, allowing the flavors to blend together. If the gravy is too thick, you can add a little water to adjust the consistency.
9. Once the paneer is cooked and the flavors are well combined, turn off the heat.
10. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
