Today, we're going to talk about what not to do if a guy is not invested in you. This is the basic fundamental. A lot of mistakes that happen to relationships are simple mistakes that could've been avoided. These are all strategical mistakes that come out of emotional responses to events particularly overreactions.

When guys start to pull away, it's the same as when an object falls, our natural reaction is to pick it up. What tends to show is it unconsciously reveals what you feel about it falling. If you have a strong emotional reaction to the thing falling, it meant that you really cared.

When somebody pulls away, most of the times he might be doing three things.
1. He's trying to manipulate you to start you chasing him
2. He might be losing genuine interest
3. Another woman is in the picture

Now, on any of these occasions, you need to pre-meditatively make a decision to never chase anybody who pulls away. That's it.

It may sabotage you in one of your relationships but in the long term, it's going to insulate you from the bullshit that people throw at you. If your guy stops texting you, it doesn't mean you have to text him more. What you need to do it stop initiating contact, don't even ask what happened. Anytime somebody is acting disinterested, just pull back.

The only time I recommend not pulling back so much is if you're financially dependent on him and it's for your survival to depend on him. What you need to do is act like you like where you are and focus on being independent one way or another because you can't do much when you're depending on somebody financially, it's different.

Again, when he's pulling away, the answer is not taking one step forward but it's moonwalking your ass backward. Have strong standards and keep them. Reinforce your standards and that'll make the guy respect you long-term.
