Omicron Threat In India: Mumbai To Announce Fresh COVID Curbs, Night Curfew | 6 PM Prime

The Maharashtra government has decided to impose fresh restrictions in the state to avoid crowding in light of the rising cases of Covid-19, especially those fuelled by the Omicron variant, an official said on Friday. Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray held talks with the state Covid-19 task force and discussed ways to avoid crowding during the Christmas and New Year celebrations, weddings and parties at hotels and restaurants.
