Meet the family Q1: Is there more or less pressure on you to conform to CisHet norms?
These videos were created as part of a project to highlight the experiences of LGBTIQAA+ young people in Central Victoria. The concepts were devised in workshops by and for LGBTIQAA+ young people.
“Meet the family” was created because our workshop participants wanted to meet and understand the experiences of LGBTIQAA+ community members from other generations. And to foster familial understanding between generations of the same rural community.
The project was funded by the Victorian Government in partnership with Goldfields Libraries, Bendigo PRIDE, Castlemaine Youth Theatre and Arena Theatre.
