The Recipe: Simple Campfire Grilled Fish
Ingredients:
1 whole fresh fish (like trout, sea bass, or snapper), cleaned and scaled
2 tbsp olive oil
1 lemon (sliced)
2 cloves garlic (minced)
A handful of fresh herbs (dill, rosemary, or thyme)
Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Instructions:
Prepare your outdoor grill or campfire, letting the coals burn down to a steady, medium-high heat.
Pat the fish dry with a clean cloth or paper towel. Lightly score the skin 2-3 times on each side to help it cook evenly.
Rub the inside and outside of the fish generously with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
