It has long been my opinion that the best accordion straps are made in Castelfidardo by Italcinte. There are many others who would agree. I hope this video gives you some insight into how they are made, by hand using traditional methods with modern tools. They use the best quality materials including 100% Cow leathers, foam rubber, cardboard, nylon, velvet and nickel plated steel. As well as making accordion straps they make a wide range of other accessories for the accordion and other instruments too.

The family business began in 1906 with the three brothers making shoes and leather goods for early concertinas, the business was passed down to subsequent generations and in 1946 Gilberto founded the present company ITALCINTE which he then passed to his youngest son Beniamino Bugiolacchi who has since brought the company to where it is today along with the help of his eldest daughter Patrizia.
Thanks to the team of dedicated, meticulous, highly experienced craftsmen and modern tools, Italcinte produces musical instrument accessories of the utmost quality.
