How to setup iSCSI on Synology NAS & connect from VM-ware ESXi - 826

Overview of what iSCSI is and how it is different from a NFS or SMB share. Setting up a new volume on my Synology RS1219+ and after that, a iSCSI LUN with a new Target,,, testing first from my Windows Desktop and then adding a iSCSI software adapter on a VMware ESXi host and making a storage volume for shared storages to all hosts to use. Finishing off with a speed test.
