The KastKing Kodiak is Worth More Than You Think | 60 Salty Hours Long Term Review + Teardown

Long term review of the KastKing Kodiak 5000 spinning reel. Threw it against the Pacific salt for 60 hours in 6 months to see if it could hang, and surprisingly it did. This reel saw action on my crabbing rod, my bottom jigging rod, my travel rod, and my surf plugging rod, and despite all the dips n dunks n hookups it kept spinning smooth. Tore it down to check for any signs of salt ingress, and it's clean as a whistle. Consider this review applicable to the 2000-5000 sizes.
