Lion King storyboard - Shadowland song [Animatic]

Finally! It feels like I've been at it for ages. I love The Lion King Musical and I love this song, I so hope they'll put it in the 2019 remake. I am no animator nor am I a digital artist - so there are, of course, many mistakes in my work. The main goal was a storyboard for my portfolio, the quality of it was not a priority for me, but since I already made it I decided to upload it here!
The lioness that greets Nala and bids her goodbye when she comes down from the rock is Sarabi, but it works with any lioness character as well.
The story is basically Nala confronting Scar, who refuses to acknowledge her pleas so she decides there is no other way than to leave (and find help). Sarabi, with a heavy heart, agress and lets her go and she as well as Rafiki pray for her to sucedd. Since Mufasa plays a huge role in the original story as a spiritual guide for Simba I included him here as well in form of the prayer that they sent - the leaves that follow her from Rafiki's tree as a form of support. Once in the forest, she notices the leaves following her and //knows//. She gains determination and with her head held up high continious her journey out of the scorched pride lands. She slows down to a slower pace once she's out of pridelands and headed towards outer borders, green and prosperous (where she later finds Simba). She steals the last glance in the direction of her home and walks away.
I tried to stay true to the original story in the movie with it. Hopefully, it makes sense.
