Children Of The Magenta Line

this video is not mine, I reproduce it because it highlights a very important aspect of my day to day life, and I truly hope the original author is happy for me to reproduce here.
I have been flying for just over 21 years now commercially, and for over a decade before that. I love flying, it takes dreams to reality, and inspires awe and imagination.
I grew up on twin props, transitioned on to the Tristar L1011, then through the 757 to 767 and now the A321.
the video above has highlighted a flight I did last week.
we were cleared in to Corfu runway 34 to circle on to runway 16. it wasn't in the box!!! I will post the video in to CFU as it was incredible , heavy rain , CB and wind did not help the situation, but a basic understanding of flying and profiles made the situation so much easier.
I have enjoyed the progression of technology as much as anyone, but my basic understanding of flying , and the "click click" principles should always be with any pilot.
This is a golden lecture , automation is amazing, but flying skills are King.
