Kyle Maynard Inspires Patients at Nationwide Children's

Nationwide Children's was proud to welcome Kyle Maynard to our hospital. Kyle was born with a condition called congenital amputation. Kyle has never let anyone tell him there was something he couldn't do; and is a champion weight lifter, mixed martial arts fighter, wrestler, and most recently, shattered expectations and became the first man to crawl to the summit of Mt. Kilamanjaro in Africa. Kyle brought his can-do attitude and message of hope and inspiration to our kids, many of whom face their own challenges and obstacles ahead. Our children had so much fun with Kyle and we are grateful for his visit.
