Exercising employees' security awareness skills, versus testing them

Is it fair to "test" employees on skills they have never had a chance to learn and practice? In this session, we discussed how employees can be given a chance to face threat scenarios they may see in the real world.
We explored questions such as:
1) What situations should employees be given more chances to learn about and practice before being tested?
2) Why do employees receive so little time to exercise the skills we want them to learn?
3) How can employees be given more opportunities to practice facing threats in a safe environment?
This was a live panel session with audience Q&A, to explore these and other questions, and share lessons learned.
Panelists included:
Thea Mannix - Praxis Security Labs
Erin Gallagher - Fastly
Sid Choudhuri - Greenpeace Canada
Scott Wright - Click Armor
