In Depth: One Nation, One Election

Today our focus is on the proposal to hold simultaneous elections in the country. The Prime Minister and senior BJP leaders are of the view that simultaneous assembly and general elections are needed to push development. The PM says it's important to implement the decision because a lot of financial and human resources are used up in frequent elections.
