Trump signs executive order banning US investments in Chinese firms linked to the military
China has vowed to protect the interests of its firms after President Donald Trump banned US investments in companies linked to the Chinese military. Mr Trump claims that Beijing is "increasingly exploiting US capital to finance the development and modernisation of its military".
