ℹ️ About the Episode: We decided to take a last-minute road trip to the region of Champagne, France. This is where Champagne is made, with strict rules from where it's grown to how it’s produced.
Imagine our surprise when we found overnight lodging in a castle that cost less than most economy hotels. Not to mention that it was available with just two days’ notice! This is one of the reasons we enjoy traveling in the shoulder season. (We’ve found the same with National Parks in the States, too.) Lower prices and fewer people can make the experience more enjoyable wherever you're visiting.
