Features of the Ice-X | Lucky Duck's Floating Ice-Eater | Lightweight and Simple De-Icer
This video walks through the features of the Lucky Duck Ice-X, such as a 3/4 HP Commercial Grade Motor, a Rotomolded Float, an easy to adjust pitch-control, a built-in decoy slot for concealment, and more. Easily melt ice on your favorite water with this mobile, easy to use de-icer.
Most Ice-Eaters are bulky, oversized, semi-permanent fixtures. They take two men to adjust the stand, they have restrictions on how deep of water they can sit in, and you have to get wet to do any kinds of adjustment or placement. But the Ice-X solves this with one obvious solution: It floats. By attaching the Ice-X to any secured fixture, like the included 7.5 foot modular pole, the Ice-X can operate from 16” deep of water, to the Mariana Trench, if you can anchor it.
This floating 3/4 horsepower ice-eater also rises and falls with changing water levels, so no constantly adjusting your stand if you hunt rivers or backwaters. Because of it’s rotomolded float, it’s lightweight, avoiding the bulk and weight of steel stands, and also gives an easy to access adjustment on the pitch of the blade from above. Lastly, it can run off your 2200 30 amp suitcase generator, meaning you can walk in with just a generator and the Ice-X on a sled.
Gone are the days of using ropes to set an ice-eater in deep water, or a stand that’s too tall for shallow water. Attach to a tree, a pole, even an anchor. Hide it with a decoy. And melt ice in deep and shallow water alike with the Lucky Duck Ice-X.
