FIRMWARE UPDATE INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1: Download the Firmware

Go to: https://github.com/darthcloud/BlueRetro/releases
Click on Assets under the "[25.04] 2024-04-27" section
Download v25.04_hw1.zip from the Assets section
Extract the zip file and remember where you saved it

Step 2: Connect Your BlueRetro

Connect your BlueRetro adapter to your computer via USB cable
Wait for your computer to recognize the device

Step 3: Access the Firmware Update Tool

Go to: https://blueretro.io/ota.html
Click "Connect BlueRetro"
Select your device from the list and click "Pair"
(Note: You may get an error the first time - click "Pair" again, it usually works on the second try)

Step 4: Select and Update

Click "Choose File"
Select the file: BlueRetro_hw1_parallel_1p.bin (from the extracted folder)
Click "Update Firmware"
Wait approximately 5 minutes for the update to complete

That's it! Your BlueRetro is now updated to the latest firmware.

SYNCING YOUR CONTROLLER
Important: First-Time Controller Sync

When you try to sync your controller for the first time, the adapter may not respond properly to the sync button on the BlueRetro - it might not detect that you've pressed it.

Here's how to fix it:

Turn off your Neo Geo system completely
Turn the system back on
Press the power/sync button on your wireless controller (PS4, PS5, Xbox, Switch, etc.)
The controller should now sync up automatically

Your controller should now be paired and ready to use!
