Brand Hierarchy Explained With Examples || Strategic Brand Management Series

There are five levels of the brand hierarchy that are discussed in this video. The levels are - Corporate brand, Family brand, Individual brand, Modifier
And product descriptor.
Corporate Brand is the organization that will own the brand. In large companies, the corporate brands are not always in the forefront.
Family Brand is the brand that will have more than one product or service category under its name.
Individual brands are the brands that are only associated with one product or service category.
Modifiers are going to distinguish the differences between the same product or service class.
And the last one, product descriptors, although not being able to distinguish a brand, will be able to separate the product quality more specifically.
The examples for all of these levels are broadly discussed in the video.
