San Juan Huts Durango to Moab Mountain Biking Ride

My son and I joined some buddies from Wharton/Lauder B-School days for a 7 day mountain biking trek from Durango to Moab in August 2011. The 230 mile trek included 26,000 feet of vertical ascent, crossed the continental divide, passed through high desert and deep valleys, skirted around canyons, and eventually dropped us into Moab after we crossed the La Sal mountains. Nights were spent in fully stocked huts managed by San Juan Hut System. Great time with my son and good friends.
