First garden tour in 2 years! Recovering from bad soil

Two years ago I bought bagged soil for the first time. Prior to that I always focused on building soil health through my own compost and local topsoil. Due to the lockdowns local soil wasn't available and the bagged organic soil at Kent was fairly inexpensive and came from NB. The bagged soil from Kent destroyed my garden. The company claimed it was a "bad batch" that contained too much carbon. I lost two years of seeds, labour and food. Finally after a lot of amending, some agrohomeopathy and phytoremediation - I'm letting the weeds grow as well as many are beneficial to the soil and I've covered every space possible with peas and buckwheat as a food source and soil builders - things are finally picking up, still slow and nowhere near as productive but hopeful at least. Big lesson learned. I never purchased imported soil in the past and I never will again. As I've always said, soil is the key to plant health - This was proof of that.
