This Century Home Makeover Feels Like A Breath Of Fresh Air

Leave it to Andrea Utter of Buttercup Design to turn a dark and dreary 1930s home into a light and airy haven for a young family! The space was closed off and lacked natural light, so the designer opened up the space, gave the walls a fresh coat of white paint and exposed the windows that were hidden behind drywall. See how she modernized the interior while honoring the original architectural details (the arches add so much character). The kitchen stuns with deep navy blue lowers and sparkling brass hardware, while the den got a much-needed update with heated floors and natural textures. Plus, tour the breezy principal bedroom and stylish bedroom with an enviable wet room-style shower and bathtub.
