Colleen Tinker: Sabbath Arguments & Answers

Colleen Tinker is the editor of Proclamation! magazine and with her husband Richard co-leads the local Former Adventist Fellowship at Trinity Church in Redlands, California. She was a third-generation Seventh-day Adventist, attended Portland Adventist (Union) Academy, graduated from Walla Walla College (now University) with a degree in music education, and later became certified in English as well. She spent 15 years teaching English in both Adventist and Christian junior high and high schools.

In 1999 Colleen resigned as managing editor and news editor of Adventist Today when she and her husband Richard left Adventism to make their behaviors congruent with their belief: Jesus alone saves. They could no longer appear to endorse nor rationalize doctrines that oppose the gospel of the Lord Jesus.
