The Sims 4 May Update Just Confirmed Something HUGE

Hello Hello Everyone! I hope you're doing well and having an awesome day! :D

Yesterday April 18th, 2026 at 12:50 pm the Sims Direct team posted on X in response to a Gallery complaint that they have confirmed they are rolling back the gallery changes for sorting default. Rollback is HUGE; this message also shows a bit more of the relationship between Sims and Maxis Studios and how even for this they must ask permission. The team excepts another large base game update with an attached laundry list in May. We aren't too sure what else the patch will bring yet, but will wait for that news from the Sims 4 team :)
