Fado Portuguese

Fado was born on a day,
When the wind barely stirred,
And the seas elongated the skies...

This classic Fado deeply touches my heart. When I learned it, I never expected to be singing it in Lembongan. An ode to Amália Rodrigues, who inspired so many hearts and planted the seed for this song to travel far, to new horizons. With a sad melody in my own heart, my eyes are blinded with tears, as I witness the beauty of the unknown shores. These shores that I recognise as my home.
