Mahogany Hall Stomp - Lonnie Johnson w Louis Armstrong
Lonnie solos on 12-string guitar. What is especially amazing is the duet with Satchmo's trumpet which follows. This is generally regarded as the earliest recorded guitar solo on a jazz record. Lonnie was about the only player who could get enough volume from an acoustic guitar to solo with a horn band.
