Pressure Support

ICU ventilator settings were something I used to struggle with. Even keeping the names straight were tough for me sometimes, but I think I finally straightened them out! In this video we take a quick look at Pressure Support. It’s a commonly used vent setting for weaning patients from ventilators by assisting them with their spontaneous breathing. We take a look at what this vent setting actually does for the patient, what we dial in and what we get out.
