Today on Gold Rush Media Corey and Jessica walk us through the Historic King's Canyon Gold Mine. This combination Lode and Placer claim is resides in Jackson County, Colorado. The King's Canyon claims are a great example of elusive, but massive gold mines, which Colorado is known for. A well maintained road passes within a mile of the claims, but the mines lie hidden up an old overgrown road. There are two claims, a lode and placer, that cover two separate mining operations. Estimated years of operation were from the 18960s-1940s. The area is a mining wonderland.
