Let's look at what kind of stock images you should make. There are two parts to this.

The first is to do what is easiest for you and what you enjoy doing.

The second is to see what images sell best...

Maybe you've got a room in the house that you don't use so you can set up a little studio and do tabletop photography. If you travel a lot and you like taking photos then maybe you should do travel photography, and if you like learning about graphics programs and maybe 3d or vector programs then you should do that.

Just do what you enjoy and do what is easy for you.

The second part is to see what sells. If we look at my portfolio I can view by downloads - which have been downloaded the most. I can see the ones that have done really well are the signposts with lots of different words on them and the other ones that have done fairly well are two buttons with words.

So what I can do is do more signposts and buttons. For the signposts, I will remove the backgrounds and add new backgrounds and for the buttons, I might do a new 3d image to add new words.
