Singer 132k6 slow sewing with treadmill motor

Singer 132K6, fitted with a 2HP 180volt motor from a treadmill.
Speed control is incredible. Motor stops immediately foot is lifted, even at fast speeds.

Motor has a 54mm pulley with a 14mm bore (taper lock 1008) from Aliexpress for $20.
Pulley has a SPZ belt groove – almost identical to “M” section belts.

Foot Control is a modified HKT72C from eBay for $18.
Mod’s include adding a 5volt relay to disconnect motor, and apply a short when foot is lifted.
This gives excellent stopping speed.

Speed Control is done by a HX-SXPWM-A from eBay for $85.
Some changes are done to default settings of HX-SXPWM-A to enhance performance.
