Irobot 780 doesn't work well - part 1

I purchased the Irobot in Israel. As can be seen clearly it can't leave it's base. According to Technicians in the lab (located in Yehud- Israel) there is no problem with this product, and that I should tape the base to the floor. They told me that every customer needs to do that (though it's not written in the instruction guide neither in Irobot website).
