Larry Pickett is the award winning Creator, Executive Producer, Host and editor of the # 1 TV music show in the Southeast called "LP17". Larry also created "The Larry Pickett Show" a live one hour call in cable show for Time Warner Cable.. He was also an entertainment reporter for NBC News as well as the host of Hip Hop Nation, which was distributed worldwide. Larry also made time to work as an on-air radio personality on WQOK-FM, K97.5 on Raleigh, NC and produced a double-disced Hip-Hop CD showcasing up and coming talent.

His shows dominated the ratings* from February 2001 to July 2004 consistently winning its time slots over the legendary Apollo TV show as well as other shows including Blind Date, Hot Ticket and Elimidate. (* Nielsen Media Research, DMA 29).

Larry also created the first ever reality TV and Radio Reality Show with Foxy99FM in Fayetteville, NC called "Becoming the DJ" in 2004.
