How to make Potassium Metal at Home
I´ve seen many people making elemental K with the reaction of Mg and KOH. It turns out, that Al can be used instead of Mg. The only problem is, that you need a good heat source like a furnace.
All materials can be found in a hardware store, the only "Exotic" chemical is the aluminium powder. The Al can also be made into a powder using a homemade ball mill.
