Exercise 1A - The Equation of a Line
In this video, you will work through every question in Exercise 1A from Chapter 1 of Haese Mathematics SL, building a solid foundation in writing and interpreting equations of straight lines. You will practise identifying gradient and y-intercept from equations, applying point-gradient form y - y1 = m(x - x1), and converting between gradient-intercept form y = mx + c and general form ax + by = d. Problems also include finding equations of lines through two given points, identifying parallel and perpendicular lines, and verifying whether a point lies on a line.
