To get right to the point, I don’t recommend you commit to a man EXCLUSIVELY unless there’s some type of offer of marriage or ceremony on the table. Ring, proposal and steps to set the wedding date.

Now that you are studying “500 Ways” and learning the importance of expressing your body (aka feelings) and speaking from warmth, I want you to examine a proposed ‘relationship timeline.’

EXAMPLE: Boy meets girl. Boy quickly wants to claim girl. Boy comes on strong and dates girl several nights a week for 1-6 months. Boy says words that sound like the two of you will be together forever. Girl resists a bit yet just as she’s falling in love, boy leaves girl. Boy says: you deserve better. Boy says: he’s not sure. Boy says, in plain English... more words.

Words are not actions.

Here’s how it can work to avoid over investment and cutting off your options too SOON in the dating-relationship process.

Date many men, as in meet for coffee, meet to chat, quick & simple dates. You're not sleeping with them all I hope! Just keeping your options OPEN and dating. This is good for practicing your feminine energy and learning more about how to express authenticity and warmth around men.

You’ll tend to have ONE man you desire more yet keep your options open with coffee dates.This keeps you from becoming over invested and quickly giving it all away to the man (i.e. where he wins and loses interest just as quickly.)

This is not a game! This is a way to tap the breaks, practice slow burn and not jump in so quickly. You will be building slowly and solidly with the man.

If the main guy wants you all to himself you can (at some point) give him 1-3 months of 1:1 dating exclusivity, then ask at month 3, “where do you see us going?” If he’s a blank page or beginning to back away, let him know you desire being a wife one day, not just a girlfriend. You can keep casually dating him, perhaps even if you two are sexually exclusive, yet this needs to be discussed openly. Every bit of it! Don’t assume your relationship is exclusive. Don't assume you are in a relationship. He needs to say the words to you. Nothing is implied. This is a loophole women have been falling into for centuries. ;-) Get Clarification. If you are age 30 and up and want to be a wife I do not suggest being a long term girlfriend. It feels good to be a gf yet tagging along with a man indefinitely will slowly lower his value of you. He’s not a bad guy. It’s chemicals and Mother Nature at work.

Get clarity. Have a timeline. Speak what you want. If he runs away, he may come back after some time/processing. Or you’ll only have invested 1-3 months and learned a ton and moved up the tiers.

You can now open yourself to new possibilities with a man who wants to marry you and call you wife. Not just girlfriend.
