1961 Impala Bubbletop RESCUED! Saved from being PARTED OUT!!

Hey everyone, and welcome back to Iowa Classic Cars! Today in this video, you will see the rescue of a 1961 impala bubbletop I found on facebook that was being offered for parts. The guy who had it was super cool and even had some impalas of his own that he was fixing, and was willing to work with me and hold the car for a couple days while I made the 10 hour drive that weekend to save this classic impala from being turned into parts! While this 1961 impala is pretty rough, its definitely worth of a restoration and im glad this vintage muscle car will be put back on the road someday!

This car has a 283 small block v8 and it is missing the heads and intake, so i doubt you will be seeing a "will it run" video for this impala anytime soon! Maybe an LS swap is in its future? (haha, just kidding!)
